Skydeo is pleased to announce that ad industry veteran Eric Simon has joined the Skydeo team as Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer.  Simon joins Skydeo from mobile ad network Yieldmo where he served as VP Operations and General Manager helping to grow Yieldmo revenues to over $60M annually.  Prior to Yieldmo, Simon led media and business operations for [x+1]/Rocket Fuel and held senior positions at Quigo (sold to AOL for $330M), Ask Jeeves, and Max Online.

According to Simon, “Skydeo is on the leading edge of mobile-first data companies.  So many companies are relying on probabilistic methods and legacy desktop technologies that no longer apply to today’s mobile usage by consumers.  I’ve been serving as an advisor since the company was started so I’m excited to be on board full time.”

Skydeo CEO Mike Ford said “It’s great to be working with Eric again.  He will be leading Skydeo’s data targeting for programmatic advertisers out of our New York office.”
