This Privacy Notice sets out how Skydeo Inc (“we”, “our”, “us”, “Skydeo”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects any Personal Data through Skydeo.com and its subpages (“Website”). Our website is intended to provide information to business clients about our products and services, potential applicants who are interested in a career with Skydeo, and website visitors.

V. How long do we keep your Personal Data?

We keep Personal Data for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, complying with legal and regulatory obligations, protecting our or other’s interests, and as otherwise permitted or required by law. When Personal Data is no longer necessary for or compatible with these purposes, it is removed from our systems in accordance with our internal retention policies. You may have privacy rights based on the laws of your jurisdiction of residence. This section describes how to exercise those rights and our process for handling those requests. You may also be permitted to designate an agent to make the following requests to exercise your rights where the law allows. We will take steps to verify that your agent has been authorized to make a request on your behalf through providing us with a copy of your authorization to the agent.   •  Right to request access to and portability

If the state/province/country in which you reside provides you with the right to access or know the Personal Data which Skydeo processes about you, you may request, up to two times each year, access to categories and specific pieces of Personal Data about you that we collect. To make an access request please visit Privacy Choices or by calling us toll-free at 512-900-8390. Once we receive your form, our identity verification service provider will confirm your identity with a series of test questions to be verified against the service provider’s data. We will provide your report of categories and specific pieces of Personal Data in a portable format. When we receive and verify your request, we will make best efforts to fulfill your request unless an exception applies.

  •  Right to request deletion

If the state/province/country in which you reside provides you with the right to delete your Personal Data, you may request that we delete any Personal Data that we obtained about you. However, we may retain Personal Data for certain important purposes, as set out by law. When we receive and verify your request to delete your Personal Data, we will proceed to delete the data unless an exception applies. To make a deletion request please visit Privacy Choices or by calling us toll-free at 512-900-8390. Once we receive your form, our identity verification service provider will confirm your identity with a series of test questions to be verified against the service provider’s data.

D.  Right to request correction/rectification

If the state/province/country in which you reside provides you with the right to correct your Personal Data and if you believe we hold inaccurate Personal Data about you, you may request that we correct that Personal Data. We will delete your Personal Data upon receipt of your correction request. When we receive and verify your request, we will proceed to delete the data unless an exception applies. Once we receive your form, our identity verification service provider will confirm your identity with a series of test questions to be verified against the service provider’s data.

E.   Right to Opt-out of the Sale

If the state/province/country in which you reside provides you with the right to opt-out of the sale of your Personal Data and if you would like to opt out of our use of your information for such purposes that are considered a “sale” under privacy laws, you may do so by visiting Privacy Choices or by calling us toll-free at 512-900-8390.  Please note that we do not knowingly sell or share the Personal Data of minors under 13 years of age without legally-required affirmative authorization.

Nevada law (NRS 603A.340) requires each business to establish a designated request address where Nevada consumers may submit requests directing the business not to sell certain kinds of Personal Data that the business has collected or will collect about the consumer. A sale under Nevada law is the exchange of Personal Data for monetary consideration by the business to a third party for the third party to license or sell the Personal Data to other third parties. F.  Right to Opt-out of the Share/Cross Context Behavioral Advertising/Targeted Advertising

If the state/province/country in which you reside provides you with the right to opt-out of share/cross context behavioral advertising/targeted advertising and if you would like to opt out of our use of your information for such purposes that are considered a “share” under privacy laws or cross-context behavioral advertising/targeted advertising (what we refer to above as Interest-based Advertising), you may do so by visiting Privacy Choices or by calling us toll-free at 512-900-8390.

G.  Right to Opt-out of Automated Decision Making and Profiling

H.  Right to limit the use of Sensitive Personal Data

Our Website does not collect Sensitive Personal Data, as defined by privacy laws. L.  Disclosure of Financial Incentives

California law also gives residents the right to: (1) request that we provide you with information about the financial incentives that we offer to you and (2) not be discriminated against (as provided for in applicable law) for exercising certain of your rights.  Skydeo does not provide financial incentives in exchange for personal data.

VII. Your general rights regarding to data collection

A. Do Not Track

Your browser settings may allow you to automatically transmit a “Do Not Track” signal to online services you visit. Note, however, there is no industry consensus as to what site and app operators should do with regard to these signals. Accordingly, unless and until the law is interpreted to require us to do so, we do not monitor or take action with respect to “Do Not Track” signals. B.  E-mails

You can opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us at any time by following the instructions as provided in emails to click on the unsubscribe link, or emailing us at the email address set out in the “Further Information” section below with the word unsubscribe in the subject field of the email. Please note that you cannot opt-out of non-promotional emails, such as those about transactions, servicing, or our ongoing business relations.

  •  Interest-Based Advertising

Companies like us that provide Interest Based Advertising services are participants of the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) and/or the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”). VIII. Minors

The Website is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data (as defined by the U.S. Children’s Privacy Protection Act, or “COPPA”) from children or individuals under the age of 13 years of age. Further, we do not knowingly sell or share Personal Data of individuals under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected Personal Data in violation of COPPA or state privacy law, contact us at privacy@Skydeo.com. We will remove the Personal Data in accordance with COPPA or other state privacy law.

IX. California Privacy Rights

A. California Do Not Track Policy

California law requires that operators of websites and online services disclose how they respond to a Do Not Track signal. Some browsers have incorporated “Do Not Track” features. Most of these features, when turned on, send a signal or preference to the website or online service that a User visits, indicating that the User does not wish to be tracked. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret Do Not Track signals, we do not currently respond to Do Not Track signal.   Users may also turn on “Limit Ad Tracking” which will zero their advertising IDs as a means of opting out of tracking.

B.  Additional California Privacy Rights

California residents may request and obtain once a year, free of charge, information about the personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. California residents may also choose to opt out of such disclosures, if any. If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of personal information that was shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared information in the immediately preceding calendar year. California residents may make such a request in writing by emailing Skydeo with your name and address, and noting “California Shine the Light Request” in the subject line of the email.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“the CCPA”) provides you with certain rights relating to the data that Skydeo has collected about you. Those rights include:

  • The right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you, the categories of sources from which we collected your personal information, our purposes for collecting or selling your personal information, the categories of your personal information that we have either sold or disclosed for a business purpose, and the categories of third parties with which we have shared personal information.
  • The right to opt out of our sale of your personal information.
  • The right to request that we delete the personal information we have collected directly from you. We use a two-step process for online requests to delete. You will be asked to clearly submit your request to delete and to separately confirm your choice.
  • The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for the exercise of the privacy rights conferred by the CCPA.

X. Data Security

We use a variety of methods, such as firewalls, intrusion detection software and manual security procedures, designed to secure your data against loss or damage and to help protect the accuracy and security of information and to prevent unauthorized access or improper use. Nevertheless, transmission via the internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of information about you. XI. Use of cookies, other tracking technology, social media and social media plug-ins

Cookies are small pieces of text or code sent to your device when you visit the Website. Cookies are used to optimize the viewing experience, count visitors to a webpage, troubleshoot any problems, keep websites secure, and better serve content. The following cookies are used on the Website:
